Relationship errors usually have a source
When a family tree looks wrong, the cause is often a missing parent, a duplicated person, a spouse attached to the wrong branch, or a child added under the wrong node.
Review the tree step by step
Start with the oldest confirmed generation and move downward. Check one branch at a time. If two people share the same name, use dates, spouses, and children to confirm identity.
Save and refresh after corrections
After editing relationships, save the changes and refresh the chart. Ask another family member to review the corrected branch before adding more people.
